Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band San Jose Concert reviews
Great Night With a Living Legend
Ringo Starr and his All-Starr band have been making the rounds, in various iterations, for years. This year's ensemble was brilliant! It was a joyous night of great music, in a beautiful venue with an older crowd, thoroughly delighted to see and hear one of rock n' roll's greatest legends, Ringo Starr and his stellar band. In addition to hits by Ringo and the Beatles, we got the best of Toto, 10cc, Santana and Men at Work. Ringo and his band-mates bantered and joked with the crowd all night long and their playing was superb, supported by a brilliant saxophonist/flautist and a superb studio drummer. Ringo, at 78, is a marvel, jumping about the stage like a little kid, extolling the virtues of peace and love, as we all should do. We will continue to see Ringo and his All-Starrs as long as they continue to perform. Long live Ringo, the Beatles and his All-Starr band!
